Lisa Domski, an experienced IT professional with more than 30 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, received an impressive $12 million jury award following a federal jury's decision that her former employer had infringed on her religious beliefs. The case started when Domski was dismissed for declining the COVID-19 vaccine, citing her Catholic faith.
Her attorney, Jon Marko, contended that her firing was a blatant instance of religious discrimination. "Lisa was unjustly dismissed from the only job she had ever known because she wouldn’t abandon her faith and beliefs," Marko stated following the verdict. "The jury’s ruling signals to BCBSM that religious discrimination is unacceptable in America."
Domski's $12 million award is the largest sum ever granted to an individual in a lawsuit concerning
COVID-19
vaccine discrimination.
As it becomes more widely acknowledged that the
vaccines were neither safe nor effective, we can anticipate an increase in lawsuits favoring individuals wrongfully dismissed for declining the
COVID vaccinations.
