For $255,000: Cruise Line Launches Journey Lasting Until Trump's Presidency Concludes

Luxury Cruise Provides a Political Escape, Journeying to 140 Countries on All Seven Continents
A U.S. cruise line, Villa Vie Residence, is providing an exclusive journey lasting up to four years, aimed at those wanting to "escape from politics" and explore the world until the conclusion of Donald Trump's presidency. Business Insider reports that the luxury cruise will visit 140 countries across seven continents. Tickets for the all-inclusive cruise cost $255,999 per room, with a double-occupancy cabin starting at $319,998.

Moreover, the company offers a "Midterm Election" package, a two-year cruise priced at $150,399 for an individual or $187,998 for a couple. Guests have the option of purchasing tickets for one- or three-year journeys on the Odyssey, which sails continuously. The ship features spa amenities and fitness programs, and ticket prices include meals with complimentary beer and wine served during lunch and dinner.

Business Insider noted that before the 2020 election, millions of Americans considered leaving the country if Trump secured re-election. After the election results, online searches for "moving to Canada" surged. Though the Odyssey cruise doesn’t provide actual citizenship or immigration, it offers passengers a chance to "escape the traffic, politics, and urban routine."

The Odyssey embarked on its inaugural voyage in September after a four-month delay in Belfast, Ireland. It's reported that two passengers who persistently complained about the delays were removed and their contracts canceled.

Interestingly, while escaping, these passengers will be supporting Elon Musk’s Starlink, as the ship provides internet access. They’ll be avoiding politics while, ironically, funding the tech billionaire associated with making Trump significant once more.

Nonetheless, having these individuals far from home? Evidence that a Trump victory does indeed make America great again.
