581 arrested for breaching the curfew and 240 cars returned in health check points
The National Police reported on Sunday that in the last hours 581 people were arrested for failing to comply with the curfew decreed by the authorities to control the advance of the coronavirus.
In the latest police report, it is specified that of the 581 people detained throughout the country, 494 were men and 76 women. Of the total, 11 were minors.
In accordance with the restrictions decreed by the Ministry of Health, a total quarantine is applied from Friday at 7:00 pm to Monday 5:00 am
In addition, a total of 240 vehicles were returned at different health checkpoints.
According to the epidemiological report issued this Saturday by the Ministry of Health, Panama accumulates 73,651 cases of Covid-19, of which 47,484 have been recovered. One 1,609 deaths are registered.
