62 reported missing and 3,332 affected by floods and landslides
The security forces of Panama reported this Sunday, November 8, 62 disappeared and 3,332 affected by floods and landslides, in the aftermath of Hurricane Eta.
The death toll is currently 17.
According to the bulletin that details the actions deployed by the authorities, there are 20 sites affected by floods, 23 sites by landslides, 168 sites as isolated, and there are 29 shelters enabled.
For rescue work, 1,746 units and 378 means of land transport have been deployed in the province of Chiriquí and Comarca Ngäbe Bugle, while in the province of Bocas del Toro 362 units have been deployed.
The report also details that there are 66 critical points nationwide affected by weather conditions.
Rains are expected to the west of the country and winds are expected in the central mountain range, high parts of the west and maritime parts of the Pacific
