Chilean Report: LATAM Flight 800's Sudden Descent Caused by Captain's Seat Movement; Investigation Ongoing

A preliminary report from Chile's aviation authority suggests that the captain's seat on LATAM Airlines Flight 807 from Australia to New Zealand experienced an "involuntary movement forward" during the flight, causing a sudden 400-foot descent.
