Beginning September 28, Copa Airlines will operate three weekly flights between David, Chiriquí, and Panama City, and its network of currently available international destinations.
Tickets can be purchased through Copa.com, the Copa Airlines Call Center and travel agencies, from $69.00 each way with taxes included.
The airline indicated that flight CM 0020 will initially operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, leaving Panama City at 7:14 am and arriving in David at 08:26 am; while the return flight, CM 0021, will depart at 9:36 am, arriving at 10:24 am.
For this flight, Copa Airlines will operate the Boeing 737-800 aircraft with the capacity to transport 160 passengers, 16 in business class and 144 in the main cabin.
Copa ensures that all its aircraft are equipped with high-efficiency filters (HEPA), which purify up to 99.97% of virus and bacteria particles, similar to an operating room according to the manufacturer.
In addition, all passengers must comply with the biosecurity measures established by the Airline and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Panama.
The Government suspended international flights for 30 days on March 22, as a measure to stop the spread of the new
coronavirus, which has been extended five times.
