U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced that three businesses in Denver, Colorado, have been fined a combined total of over $8 million after hiring 143 unauthorized workers during workplace audits.

The largest fine was issued to CCS Denver Inc., amounting to $6,186,171 for a 100% substantive violation rate and employing at least 87 unauthorized workers.

PBC Commercial Cleaning Systems received a fine of $1,599,510 due to a 74% violation rate and employing at least 12 uncredentialed workers.

Green Management Denver was fined $270,195 following the identification of 44 authorized employees and a 100% violation rate.

ICE emphasized that these fines aim to uphold the integrity of the immigration system by penalizing businesses that undermine it through unauthorized employment.

The agency highlighted a three-prong approach focusing on compliance, enforcement, and outreach as its method for handling worksite enforcement effectively.
