El Salvador has officially declared its support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host the 2030 World Expo.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador stated that the government of President Nayib Bukele supports the candidacy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, citing the excellent friendly relations between the two nations and the mutual interest in promoting development through innovation, science, and technology.
The bid to host the event, which will be held under the motto "Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow," faces competition from Busan, Rome, and Odessa.
