Express swab center installed in Chepo

The Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa) installed an express swab center in the Chepo district, to capture positive cases of COVID-19 without people having to get out of their cars.

The center operates from Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

According to the Minsa, the traceability plan has produced results in lowering the transmission rates of COVID-19 in East Panama.

The traceability strategy consists of detecting positive cases, locating their contacts, isolating them in their residences so that they comply with their quarantine period.
