In places where the mobility restriction has not been lifted, the curfew is maintained from Monday to Sunday, from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.

As of this Monday, October 4, the curfew measure will be eliminated in several districts of the provinces of Panama Oeste and Chiriquí.

According to Executive Decree 853, in West Panama, the districts of La Chorrera and Arraiján remain without a curfew; while in Chiriquí, the curfew will be eliminated in the districts of Bugaba, David and Dolega.

On the other hand, in the district of Barú in Chiriquí; and in the districts of Chame and San Carlos, in Panama Oeste the curfew will continue from Monday to Sunday, from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. and the closing of shops will be at 12:00 p.m.

The Ministry of Health of Panama, which has already lifted the curfew in several sectors, including the capital city, indicated that this measure arises from the latest indicators of the COVID-19 pandemic in Panama, which maintains a RT of 0.89.

To date, more than 74% of citizens in Panama have both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
