On Wednesday night there was a shooting on Calle 70 San Francisco, which left one dead.

Diners who were in a nearby restaurant threw themselves on the floor and took cover under the tables. They indicate that they heard dozens of shots and that they tried to report the incident through the National Police and 911 lines, but they did not respond.

The director of the National Police, John Dornheim, said that "in conjunction with the Public Ministry, the respective investigations are being carried out and this indicates to us that those who participated in this homicide here are closely linked to national and transnational organized crime."

On whether there are already apprehensions, Dornheim replied "we cannot delve into details due to our own investigation, but there are already people who are being singled out in this homicide."
