The use of masks and face shield will be mandatory in public transport in Panama, starting this Monday, May 17, as announced by the Minister of Health (Minsa), Luis Francisco Sucre.
In this sense, the face shields should be worn together with the masks, since the use of one does not exempt the use of the other in transport.
Likewise, as established by the Minsa, from this Monday, the capacity of the passenger capacity in the collective transport system will be allowed to increase to 80%.
In addition, transport units must have signs that indicate to users that while they are using this transport it will be prohibited to speak, converse, or make conversations by telephone.
