Minister of Education confirms that there will be an opportunity to carry out graduations

"We are already making the information official, obviously with all the biosecurity measures," said Minister Maruja Gorday de Villalobos.
The Minister of Education, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos, announced this Sunday that for this year 2021 there will be an opportunity to carry out graduations in some educational establishments that so have it and comply with biosafety protocols.

“Yes there will be the opportunity, we are already making the information official, obviously with all the biosecurity measures, however… we have many schools because due to the expenses involved in a face-to-face graduation, they will remain as last year and that is what we will do. to be respected, approximately 20% of the more than 136 schools in the official mid-level sector have said that they are going to maintain and they are going to do virtual graduations ", informed the Minister of Education in the Face to Face program.

He explained that they will initiate the approaches with the general directions to begin with the planning for the realization of the graduations.

He clarified that these activities will be carried out as long as conditions allow it and will depend on the epidemiological behavior of COVID-19 and the indications of the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

“It is important to note that all the measures that are being given, which are generating opportunities in the educational system, will always depend on epidemiological behavior and the guidelines that the health authorities give us for us to make the decision, so for now they maintain the biosafety protocols and obviously respecting everything that has been regulated in relation to that, the approaches with the regional directorates are going to be generated and we are going to start that planning, "said the Minister of Education.
