Profesionales de enfermería esperan respuestas

Nurses Association still waiting to hear from the Government on salary agreements

The president of the National Association of Nurses of Panama (ANEP), Ana Reyes de Serrano continues to await responses from the Government authorities on salary agreements established since 2015 and the addendum that was agreed in 2016, which is still pending compliance.
Reyes de Serrano pointed out that compliance with Executive Decree 178 of 2019 is also pending, in particular on the payment of shifts on weekends and holidays, among other provisions.

Another of the situations in which they remain on alert are the payments of the personnel who have been hired in times of a pandemic that are on temporary status, and not yet fully regularized, said the president of ANEP.

She announced that for Wednesday, October 14, they have an appointment with the Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa).

In an online video message she pleaded to the union not to lower its guard against COVID-19.
