Panama registers 30 deaths and 841 cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours in Panama, 30 new deaths have been registered due to Covid-19, according to the epidemiological report prepared by the Ministry of Health (Minsa).
In that same report, it was highlighted that 841 new cases of infected with the new coronavirus have been reported throughout the country.
While for this Sunday in Panama there are 48,748 patients recovered from the disease.
In the country there is a cumulative total of 74,492 cases of infected with the coronavirus. While active cases total 24,105.
To detect the new cases this Sunday 2,768 tests were applied, for a percentage of positivity of 30%.
With the new deaths, the country has a total of 1,639 deaths, which represents a fatality rate of 2.2%.
The Minsa explained that 22,464 people are reported home isolation, of which 21,837 are at home and 627 in the so-called hospital hotels.
There are 1,641 hospitalized and 1,484 of them are in the ward and 157 are in intensive care units.
