Panama reports 203 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths in 24 hours
To date, Panama has 2,256 active cases and accumulates 470,598 COVID-19 infections.
The Ministry of Health ( Minsa ) of Panama notified 203 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of infections in the country to 470,598.
While 2 new deaths were reported due to this disease, a death from previous days is updated, for a total of 7,297 deaths. The fatality is at 1.5%.
7,246 tests to detect covid-19 were applied in the last hours. The positivity is at 2.8%.
To date, Panama has 2,256 active cases and 461,045 recovered patients, according to the epidemiological report of the Minsa.
Of the total number of infected patients, 2,056 remain isolated, 1,973 of them at home and 83 in hospital hotels.
While 200 patients are hospitalized, of which 159 are in the ward and 41 in intensive care units.
