Panama reports 225 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death in 24 hours
The number of hospitalized is 253, of which 197 are in the ward and 56 in intensive care.
According to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health ( Minsa ), this Friday, October 1, 225 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Panama, for a cumulative total of 467,338 infections.
In the last 24 hours, 1 death was registered, to raise the total number of deaths to 7,230, the lethality of this virus remains at 1.5%. A deceased of a previous date is reported.
The number of active cases is 3,214, of which there are 2,961 in home isolation; 2,838 at home and 123 in hotels. In addition, 8,001 tests were applied and the percentage of positivity is 2.8%.
