After the Minister of Security, Juan Pino, sent the Attorney General of the Nation, Eduardo Ulloa, a note revealing the circulation in social networks of false information in which the police officers were urged to disobey orders, the Public Ministry opened an ex officio investigation to determine its provenance.
Sources from the Public Ministry confirmed that Pino sent the note to Ulloa this Monday, May 4, in which he informed the circulation of fake news that seek to generate chaos in the country.
At the daily conference on the state of the
Covid-19 pandemic, Pino alluded to fake news in which the police are encouraged to fail in their duties.
It was reported that this investigation will be filed with the Primary Care Prosecutor's Office , which must analyze the news published on social networks and establish its authors.
During the
Covid-19 pandemic last April, a person was arrested in the province of Chiriquí for making threats on social networks.
