Roberto Duran likely caught the virus from people visiting him for his Birthday

The world boxing legend, the Panamanian Roberto "Hands of Stone" Durán, is in good health after confirming that he tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday, according to his son Robin.
Durán, who turned 69 on June 16, received visits at his home and was probably infected there at his residence.

Even the Panamanian urban music singer Japanese posted a video with Durán on his birthday on his Instagram account.

My dad was following the quarantine period. But since he is out of courtesy, he received some visits at his house [for his birthday] and unfortunately… they brought the virus with them, said Robin Durán in statements to TVN.

According to his son, Roberto Durán is well and with symptoms of a common cold. For his well-being they decided to keep him in the hospital to continue with the evaluations and treat the coronavirus accordingly. In fact, he didn't even have a fever yesterday when he went to the hospital.

According to the protocols of the Ministry of Health, people who had contact with Durán have to comply with a period of quarantine.

Durán is recognized worldwide as the best light weight (135 pounds) of all time.

He has a record of 103 fights won, 16 losses, 70 won by knockout.
