There will be no national parades, Meduca and health authorities evaluate graduations

The head of Meduca, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos pointed out that the homeland activities in November will be carried out virtually.
The head of the Ministry of Education ( Meduca ), Maruja Gorday de Villalobos announced that the national parades are not contemplated , but added that together with the health authorities they evaluate the organization of the graduations.

"For now of what we have coordinated with the health authorities, obviously in that leadership that has governed the issue of the pandemic, health activities have not been considered at an educational level and I imagine that there will be some formal acts, contests ... But at the parade level, no, because for the moment we remain the same as last year, the virtual activities will be carried out," said Gorday de Villalobos.

The minister indicated that it is not allowed to gather many students and also contemplate the execution of the instruments.

The minister stressed that the health authorities asked her to wait for this period to end to evaluate the completion of the graduations, which she anticipated would not be massive, given that massive events are not yet allowed, however they are expected that if carried out, the biosafety protocols and distancing would be maintained.

"However, the health authorities have asked us to complete this period to evaluate the possibility of having graduations, we are not talking about massive graduations, there are no massive events, however, with biosafety protocols, distancing and with the possibility that they they can have that opportunity and that important moment," he said.
