The head of the Lo Santos Police Zone, Commissioner Alfredo Icaza, reported that two subjects have been arrested, one of them from Colón province with a prior criminal record.

He noted that they are tracking down another two people connected to the crime, and that cooperation of the community has been important in the investigation that is being carried out.

Witnesses to the triple homicide that occurred last Monday night in the community of Tres Quebradas, indicated that four men entered the residence of two of the victims with heavy weapons and killed the two Chambers brothers, and their 19-year-old friend.

Two automatic weapons were found near the scene; an AK-47 automatic rifle and an M-4 rifle. The investigation suggests that the killings were carried out by hired guns, due to the background of two of the victims.
