Border Surge Leads to Over 11,000 Migrants Waiting in Northern Mexico

Over 11,000 migrants are currently waiting in northern Mexico as the US sees a surge in illegal crossings. These individuals hope for legal entry into the US, amidst indecision in Washington over immigration policy.
In Tijuana, nearly 3,800 migrants from various nations are housed in shelters, while 3,273 and around 4,000 await in Reynosa and Matamoros, respectively.

Despite feelings of desperation, many migrants trust in the CBP One app for asylum appointment scheduling. Nonetheless, the US border cities are overwhelmed by a significant increase in migrant encounters, peaking at over 9,600 daily in December.

Dangerous attempts to cross, such as through the Rio Grande, where three migrants recently drowned, continue. Yet migrants receiving US processing often share only positive experiences, omitting the harsher realities of the journey.

Since May, the US has deported or returned over 445,000 individuals, mostly from its southern border. Amidst the crisis, entry ports were closed, and rail services in Eagle Pass and El Paso were briefly halted but have since resumed.

Efforts to manage the surge included processing a group of migrants in Eagle Pass, but challenges persist with illegal crossings being encouraged by malicious parties. Large groups also arrive by train, as noted by a Piedras Negras shelter director.

To address these issues, Mexican President Lopez Obrador will meet US State Secretary Blinken, Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas, and Biden's security adviser Sherwood-Randall in Mexico City.

As they say, to the victors go the spoils.

The current US Government is actively destroying the country. The 2 huge migration camps in Panama are both flying the US flag and financially supported by the US. They have started building the road through the Darian gap so more invaders from through out the world can make their way to the US. Very few women are coming across because after the invaders finish what is planned there will be plenty of women for the winners of this planned invasion
