Trump Selects Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence

Tulsi Gabbard's new role as the Director of National Intelligence represents a significant change in U.S. foreign policy, emphasizing peace and diplomacy. This change is a clear departure from the Biden-Obama administration's approach of initiating conflicts and aggressive military actions globally. Her position provides an essential balance to recent Trump appointee Marco Rubio, known for his professionalism yet inclined toward military solutions rather than diplomatic efforts that focus on mutual respect and finding common ground.
Ms. Gabbard, who joined the Republican Party inspired by Trump's transformative leadership, brings extensive experience as a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve and an Iraq War veteran.

Trump commended Gabbard for her "fearless spirit" and dedication to bolstering national security through a strategy of "peace through strength." He expressed confidence that her leadership would greatly enhance the effectiveness and integrity of the 18 intelligence agencies she oversees.

Ms. Gabbard is set to play a crucial role in the administration, also responsible for preparing the President’s Daily Brief and ensuring that the highest levels of intelligence support the executive branch.

The announcement, initially shared by Roger Stone on X, highlights the strategic alignment within Trump’s team as they aim to guide national intelligence with a renewed emphasis on transparency and accountability.

Appointing Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence signifies a significant shift in U.S. foreign policy toward diplomatic engagement and "peace initiatives."

This move decisively shifts focus away from the long-standing U.S. tendency to orchestrate conflicts and aggressive military interventions that benefit only the American defense industry, at the expense of American poor and middle-class taxpayers.

These practices have not only failed to enhance national security or serve U.S. interests but have also damaged America's global leadership reputation, accumulating adversaries worldwide while reducing the number of true U.S. allies, even among those aligned in specific conflicts.
